Links Hope Island GC 17th – Gold Coast, Queensland

The Peter Thomson designed Links Hope Island Golf Course is located on the Gold Coast just 20 minutes from Surfers Paradise and 40 minutes from the Brisbane CBD and is the centrepiece of Hope Island Resort. Along with the 5-Star facilities and aquatic driving range the Par 72 course is consistently ranked as one of Australia’s top ten resort courses.

The signature Par 3 – Hole 17 – is a challenge for any golfer and is an experience in courage or folly. At 230m off the black tees and 180m off the whites, many players cannot reach the green due to the prevailing head wind. So one must consider swallowing their pride and playing this as a par four rather than a par three.
