Brookwater Golf & Country Club - 16th Hole

Brookwater GCC 16th – Brisbane, Queensland.

Opened in 2002 Brookwater is a par 72, tournament standard course measuring 6,469 metres. Featuring long, narrow fairways and challenging bunker locations which golfers of all levels can enjoy. Each hole features distinctive Australian bushland landscapes including natural water features, spectacular rock formations and stands of ghost gums.

The 16th hole is the first of three challenging closing holes. The tee shot is played across the corner of a wetland to a large and undulating green that wraps around a yawning bunker. The left side of the green is guarded by two bunkers which feed into the wetland. The back of the green is also guarded by the wetlands and a par is a tough proposition if the green is missed here.

Very picturesque, this hole is a delight to play and two putts are never a certainty when the pin is cut on the right.
