5. The Legend of Bagger Vance

Matt Damon and Will Smith combine forces to produce a heart-warming story of personal fulfillment and triumph centred around not a golfer, but a caddy.

The Legend of Bagger Vance, tells the story of a caddy of the same name (Will Smith), who meets washed-up, heavy drinking former golf talent Rannulph Junuh (Matt Damon).

Bagger Vance offers to help Junuh tackle his issues and return to the game of golf to play in a two day exhibition match against Walter Hagen and Bobby Jones.

We don’t want to give too much away but what follows is a journey of highs and lows that can’t help but inspire. The movie doesn’t receive the same fame as other golf movies but that doesn’t change the fact that we believe every golf fan should see it.
