Back in 1998 Steve Lowery had safely found the putting surface at the tricky 17th. As he and his playing partners made their way towards the green, Lowery’s ball was seized upon by a mischievous seagull.
The bird tried a couple of times to pick the ball up, rolled it around before eventually getting a hold of it and flying away. The flight didn’t last long however as the bird dropped the ball into the water a few seconds after take off.
