We all know how good Greg Norman was and it was never more obvious than his brilliant display of dominance during the 1994 Players Championship. Fresh from winning the 1993 Open Championship the year prior Norman backed this up by claiming golf’s ‘Fifth Major’ with a record breaking 24 under par total.
He opened with a 63 and followed up with three straight 67 to leave second place Fuzzy Zoeller literally waving the white flag (towel).
And the most impressive thing about it? He did it all while wearing his funky polo shirts and his infamous straw hat, so for anyone looking for the secret to better golf, there you have it…
