Last year’s PGA Championship saw an exciting shootout between three of the game’s finest players in Rory McIlroy, Rickie Fowler and Phil Mickelson. Persistent rain delayed the final round tee-times by an hour meaning it was race against time to get the tournament finished before darkness fell.

The battle ebbed and flowed with McIlroy, Mickelson and Fowler all leading at various points. Eventually it was the Northern Irishman who came out on top, in pretty much complete darkness Phil’s eagle chip stayed up allowing McIlroy to par the last and win his 4th major championship.
